Transfer talk seems to be heating up again and honestly, I can't help but feel a bit sceptical about the whole circus. Clubs like Brighton and Brentford have shown that smart recruitment is key, not just splashing cash on big names. The focus should really be on finding players who fit the system rather than going for the marquee signings that might not even work out in the long run. Look at the success of lower-profile signings who seamlessly integrate into a team's philosophy; that's where the real magic happens.
